Datapel is brilliant at what it does. Useless at everything else your data + AI needs to touch.
Datapel tracks the build, but production performance stays thin - machine downtime is not captured against the work order, cost reconciles late, and AI has no live production view across lines.
The integration tool you've already tried probably can't fix it.
App-to-app. Useful, until it isn't.
Connectors for Datapel, Slack + a thousand other cloud apps. Cheap + fast for the easy half of integration. Where they hit a wall:
- MES and production systems that need Datapel work-order, build and OEE data against the run
- ERP and accounting that reconcile production cost from batch files instead of the live feed
- SCADA, PLCs and sensors whose machine signals should build OEE on the work order
- Data warehouses and AI agents needing live production, downtime and completion signals per line
MES, ERP, SCADA, machines + AI. One platform.
The integration platform built for what other tools can't (or won't) reach - plus an AI data fabric, MCP server + app builder layered on top.
- Datapel + every MES, ERP and SCADA system
- MES, ERP, PLCs, SCADA, IoT sensors + custom-built connectors.
- Files, legacy SQL, FTP + custom-built connectors
- Real-time bidirectional sync, tier-aware + rate-limit-safe
- AI Data Fabric, MCP, automation + custom apps included
Datapel + Rayven: AI, automation + tools that reach every system you run.
5 examples of what Rayven customers run on Datapel + integrated systems. Built in weeks, not months.
Machine data builds OEE on the build
Counts, states and downtime from SCADA and PLCs tie to the active Datapel work order, so OEE and completion build from live machine data rather than a manual build note.
Work-order and OEE data reach planning
Work-order status, completions and OEE flow into your MES and ERP, so planning and costing see the real production picture, not an end-of-run summary.
Downtime raises the work order
Machine downtime against the build opens a job in your CMMS, so maintenance acts on the stoppages that hold up production instead of hearing about them later.
Production data, AI-ready
Every work order, completion and downtime event streams into Rayven's Industrial AI Data Fabric. AI agents query live production and OEE, and flag where builds fall behind.
Production on one board
Work-order progress and line OEE roll up into cross-line dashboards, so operations tracks builds and losses on one definition rather than checking Datapel screen by screen.
Integration is the start with Rayven.
Here's what comes with it.
Rayven isn't just a Datapel connector. It's the operational software platform underneath - so once Datapel is connected, four more capabilities come online by default.
AI-ready data layer (AI Data Fabric)
Datapel data joined with ERP, IoT + legacy - contextualised, unified and structured so AI models, agents and tools can use it without ETL prep work.

Live AI access (Rayven MCP)
Claude, ChatGPT + Gemini get live, governed access to Datapel and every other connected system. Your AI stops guessing - cites real Datapel records + numbers.

Automation + AI agents
Workflows + AI agents act on Datapel data without human intervention - escalate at-risk accounts, trigger operational work, auto-update forecasts, draft customer comms.

Custom apps + portals
Unified customer portals, ops dashboards, mobile field apps, partner portals - built on top of integrated Datapel data. No separate BI tool, no separate dev stack.

All on top of your existing stack. No rip + replace. Datapel stays Datapel. Rayven works on what you've already built. Specifically tuned for Datapel production-module work orders with a machine bridge adding the OEE dimension.
Rayven is a five-layer platform ALL your integrations + much more
can run on.
Integration is one layer of Rayven. Data, execution, presentation + governance are the other four - all delivered as one platform on one commercial.
Pick the right tool for your stack.
Datapel integration looks different at every scale. Honest comparison of the four common paths - Rayven only wins on some of them.
The integration is the easy bit.
The platform + team behind it is the difference.
Platform + team. One commercial.
Not five vendors stitched together. Rayven is the platform AND the Australia-based expert team that scopes, builds + supports it. One commercial. No licence stacking, no finger-pointing.
Built for Datapel's work-order production model.
Rayven reads Datapel's REST API for work-order and production data, and bridges [SCADA](/solutions/data-integration-platform/scada-integration) and PLC machine signals onto the build. Real-time production and OEE sync lands the record in MES, ERP and AI, distinct from the Datapel WMS page, with Rayven never touching the line.
We stay after go-live.
No handoff. No disappearing. Rayven is a long-term partner when your Datapel evolves, your stack changes, or you push further. 24/7 support. Same team, same platform, same commercial.
Hosted your way, where you need.
Deploy as cloud, private cloud + on-premise - in Australia, the US, the UK, or anywhere else your Datapel data needs to live. Your residency, your rules, your local compliance environment.
The questions Datapel admins, RevOps + IT ask first.

What is Datapel production integration?
Datapel production integration is the practice of connecting Datapel's production module to the rest of your operation - MES, ERP, SCADA and AI - so work-order, production and OEE data are visible everywhere they matter. Rayven delivers it as part of an Industrial AI Data Fabric, not a single-purpose connector.
How is this different from a Datapel WMS integration?
This page covers Datapel's production and manufacturing module - work orders, builds and OEE. Datapel's warehouse side (inventory, pick, pack and ship) is covered by the WMS integration. Rayven connects both and keeps the production and inventory copy and data distinct so neither page duplicates the other.
How does Rayven connect Datapel to other systems?
Rayven reads Datapel's REST API for real-time sync of work-order, production and OEE data, and bridges SCADA and PLC machine signals onto the build. Work orders, completions and downtime all flow as first-class integration events. See the Rayven Platform for how the layers fit together.
Does Rayven replace or control our machines?
No. Rayven reads production and OEE data and sits alongside Datapel; it never controls, replaces or writes to the machines or the line. Datapel keeps tracking the build, while Rayven lifts production and OEE into an Industrial AI Data Fabric and connects it to MES, ERP and AI. Read more in how Rayven works.
How long does Datapel production integration take with Rayven?
Most Datapel production integrations go live in 2-12 weeks. A single Datapel-to-ERP or Datapel-to-MES flow runs in 2-3 weeks; a full performance fabric with SCADA and AI runs 6-12 weeks. Choose DIY, done-for-you or hybrid delivery.
Why does Rayven add value on top of Datapel's production module?
Datapel tracks the build for smaller manufacturers. Rayven adds the production-performance layer: tying machine downtime to the work order, carrying OEE to the MES and ERP and feeding it to AI and dashboards. Rayven complements Datapel. See the Rayven Platform.
What are the technical specifics of Datapel integration with Rayven?
Rayven reads Datapel's REST API via API key authentication for real-time sync of work-order, build and production data from the production module. Because the production module shares a platform with Datapel's warehouse and inventory functions, Rayven maps production and inventory data distinctly so this OEE page never overlaps the WMS integration. Machine downtime is not natively captured, so signals from SCADA, PLCs and sensors over OPC-UA and MQTT are bridged onto the work order to add the OEE dimension. Work orders, completions, downtime and OEE are preserved with field-level mapping into MES, ERP and maintenance targets. API rate limits are handled through batching, queuing and back-pressure. Rayven reads and contextualises the data and sits alongside Datapel; it never controls or writes to the machines or the line. Validated against Datapel's production module with an external machine bridge joining the record.
