How our AWS S3 integration works.

Connecting AWS S3 to Rayven is incredibly simple and only involves a few short steps to ensure a seamless, secure integration with your platform.

1. Select the AWS S3 Node.

Drag-and-drop it onto the Rayven workspace from the nodes list and name it.

2. Configure.

Under Bucket Name, enter bucket from AWS S3.
Add the Access Key ID and Secret Key configured on your AWS S3 account.
Enter the Folder Name within the bucket that contains the data files.
Enter the AWS Region for your account.
Enter the Interval between File Downloads.
Select the Payload Format of your AWS S3 files (we support JSON, JSON Array, CSV, XML and String).

3. Advanced Configuration (optional).

Enter a Payload Device ID Field Name to specify the JSON key where Device ID info should appear.
Use Filter by File Name to define the files read from an AWS S3 folder. We support wild cards (*).
Select Variable Name for File Name if you want to set the JSON key that will hold the file name as the value used in the workflow.

4. Payload Date Settings (optional).

Configure timestamps based on when data arrives from a device, defining 'Date Field Name' and 'Date Format'.

5. Activate.

Click 'Activate' and then 'Save'.

6. Security (optional).

Set-up SSL/TLS encryption as required.
